The Odessa Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has announced the date of its annual rummage sale to be held in the hospital atrium. The group’s service projects have raised money to buy items for the hospital not covered in its annual budget.
This will be the final fund-raising event for the group, which due to the age of its current members, their small number (fewer than 10) and a lack of new volunteers willing to participate, plans to disband. Current members plan to meet with representatives of the Odessa Hospital Foundation to discuss what events that group might be willing to continue, if any.
