Cub Scout Pack 784 celebrated their Annual Pinewood Derby Race on Sunday, February 9, at the Old Town Hall. Scouts and their families enjoyed a potluck dinner and a presentation of achievement badges that each scout earned through participation in various activities this year. The group also showed their appreciation to Cub Scout Master Peggy Dewulf for her many years of service to the scouting program. She will be retiring now that all her boys have made it through all the ranks.
Kamie Iverson and April Strebeck will continue as Cub Scout leaders for next year. The favorite part of the evening was the Pinewood Derby race. Race results for the fastest car were first place, Dakota Steward; second place, Holden Iverson, and third place, Gage Starkel. Awards for best car design went to first place Keith Strebeck, second place Jacob Scrupps and third place Pilot Weishaar.
