Members of the Friends of the Pool (FOP), a group of young parents who conduct fundraising efforts on behalf of the Odessa Aquatic Recreation Center, met with town officials at the publicl library recently to discuss needs at the pool prior to the coming swim season. The concrete needs to be resurfaced and leveled before decking can be added. Town officials said the concrete issues need to be addressed before the 2014 swim season in order to eliminate safety code violations.
