Monday, Feb. 24: Responding to a Coal Creek Road residence, Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a 50-year-old man experiencing pain in the abdomen.
A worker at K&L Chevron in Sprague reported receiving an email on the business account from a man who made comments about "being locked in the women's restroom with the clerks for hours." The caller asked that an investigation be started.
A Davenport woman reported harassing phone calls from an automotive refinancing business. After she advised the caller she was on the national "do not call" list, the man told her he could do so. She hung up and he called back, saying, "See, we can still call you."
A one-vehicle collision was reported on Harrington Tokio Road near Larmer Road. The driver was described as "very banged up" and the three children aboard also were hurt, one possibly suffering a concussion. All four were transported by ambulance to Lincoln Hospital in Davenport.
A semi-truck got stuck on SR 25 near Flatlander Storage about 21 miles north of Davenport.
As a result of very slippery road conditions, a Lincoln County Public Works snowplowing truck was involved in a rollover collision, ending up on its side along Hart Road near Teel Hill Road.
An Almira man reported someone "busted through" a shop door in the 100 block of Maxwell Road East.
A semi-truck pulling two trailers loaded with hay was involved in a rollover collision on SR 2 near Fictenburg Road.
Odessa Police investigated a report of a possibly inebriated middle-aged man who seemed to be prowling vehicles parked behind Chiefs Bar and Grill.
Tuesday, Feb. 25: Schools in Reardan and Sprague started classes two hours late due to weather conditions.
Several slide-offs were reported along I-90 in the Sprague area.
A collision involving a vehicle and deer took place on SR 25 about 15 miles north of Davenport.
A deputy checked on the welfare of a Davenport woman after she reported hearing "a ringing" inside her house in the 700 block of Thirteenth Street.
A Creston caller reported that a man in a red and white truck "constantly speeds" down Seven Springs Dairy Road and a collision was narrowly averted this morning.
Deputies responded to a Grand Coulee mobile home park where a domestic violence incident was reported to be in progress. Two men were taken into custody for assault or unlawful imprisonment.
A Sprague woman reported dogs in the 500 block of West 2nd were "barking non-stop" and could be heard over the whistles from passing trains. A responding deputy found the dogs were inside and there was no noise.
Wilbur Police investigated the theft of $384 associated with an ATM withdrawal.
Reardan Police responded to a report of an assault at the high school.
Wednesday, Feb. 26: Creston ambulance personnel assisted an individual with breathing difficulties in the 100 block of SE Creston Avenue.
Trader's Express personnel reported a suspicious man who had been in and out of the store several times over a two-day period. A responding deputy determined the man was a truck driver waiting for a part to arrive so he could be on his way.
An Odessa woman reported receiving harassing text messages.
Wilbur Police investigated the theft of fuel from a People to People bus parked at Main Avenue and Alder Street.
Thursday, Feb. 27: Responding to the 700 block of Maxwell Street, Davenport ambulance assisted a 23-year-old woman with breathing difficulties.
Odessa ambulance personnel assisted a 69-year-old intoxicated man who had repeatedly fallen.
A Davenport woman told dispatchers she found a sugary substance in a truck diesel fuel tank, lines and injectors. The vehicle's passenger side door also was keyed, she said.
A man with a dog in his vehicle was spotted taking photos or video of private property adjacent to Rebel Ridge Lane north of Reardan.
Corrections officers recovered small methamphetamine particles that were found on a window sill in the women's area of the county jail.
Wilbur Police advised a vacuum salesman of his need to secure a solicitor's license at Town Hall.
Friday, Feb. 28: Sprague ambulance personnel were sent to the 300 block of East Walnut where a woman reportedly suffered a broken foot.
Strong winds were believed responsible for an alarm that went off at Sprague's K&L Chevron.
Emergency personnel responded to the 300 block of East Spokane Avenue in Reardan, where an 89-year-old man had collapsed.
Saturday, March 1: A driver drove off SR 2 near Tramm Road and got stuck. His wife, who was following him in another vehicle, told dispatchers she thought he may have suffered a seizure.
Deputies responded to a physical altercation involving a Davenport man and a 17-year-old boy in the 900 block of Maxwell Street.
A work crew installing new carpet accidentally tripped an alarm at the Coulee Dam Credit Union in Creston.
Two vehicles collided with deer on I-90 in the Sprague area. One vehicle went through a fence. No injuries were reported.
Sunday, March 2: Two Sprague ambulance crew members were hurt after a vehicle collided with the newest ambulance while it was responding to an injury collision on I-90.
Odessa ambulance personnel responded to a rollover collision on Trejbal Back Road just off SR 21, from which they transported an injured woman to Odessa Memorial Hospital. Alcohol may have been involved and the driver was taken into custody.
A driver told deputies that while driving around town, her vehicle collided with a parked car at Morgan and Eighth streets in Davenport. She was cited for negligent driving.
A Bald Ridge Road resident advised that someone may have spotlighted her residence from a vehicle parked at the end of her driveway.
No one was hurt as a result of a two-vehicle collision on SR 2 near Reardan.

Criminal Sentencings
Jennifer Yu Hong Wu, 40, of Bellevue, Wash., entered an Alford plea Feb. 18 to tampering with physical evidence (amended through plea negotiations from forgery). She must pay $700 court costs and restitution and attorney fees yet to be determined. She also must complete 12 months probation. The charge involved a dissolution of marriage petition filed in Lincoln County on which she was accused of forging her ex-husband's signature.
Brian E. Martin, 44, of New Meadows, Idaho, noting there was "sufficient evidence to be convicted by a jury," pleaded guilty Feb. 25 to second-degree rendering criminal assistance (amended through plea negotiations from second-degree kidnapping). His sentence includes 12 days jail (all credited as served) and $500 court costs. The original charge involved the abduction on Aug. 17 of last year of a "mentally diminished" girl later found in the Chelan/Leavenworth area. The amended charge claimed that Martin had acted to "prevent, hinder and delay" the apprehension of another individual associated with the case who was charged with rape and kidnapping.
