Reckless driving results in separate arrests in county

On Friday, March 14, 2014, at about 3:30 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriffs Deputy Calen Hayes was on routine patrol in the Davenport area when a dark green Honda Accord entered radar range at approximately 85 mph traveling westbound on State Route 2. Deputy Hayes was traveling eastbound when he turned around to make a traffic stop on the vehicle for speeding. The vehicle was about two miles east of Davenport at the time of the violation, and the deputy was about a mile behind the violator as the suspect entered the east end of Davenport at a high rate of speed.
