Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

23rd Annual Wine Tasting and Auction

The exceptional donations just keep on coming in for the Auction. This week we've received:

n A Walla Walla package which includes four bottles of five-star cellar wine, a round of golf at the Walla Walla Country Club including range balls and golf cart , and a lunch or dinner at the restaurant of the winning bidder's choice. A gift from Hank and Catherine Worden.

n A Historic Wallace, Idaho, package for two including a one-night stay at the Best Western Wallace Inn with breakfast, a dinner at the 1313 Club, Silver Streak Zip-Lining and a tour of the Sierra Silver Mine. A gift from the Odessa school staff.

n A one-week stay, November 7th to 15th, in a two bedroom condo at Palm Desert California. A gift from Larry and Linda Gustafson.

We've learned about the gift of an evolving potting table that is getting bigger and better as time goes by. It has become the talk of the town, at least the ladies of the town, because the gift is being given by the Hair Haus and is on display there. We invite you to come see and bid on all the wonderful items we have accumulated, whether they are in the Silent Auction, the Dessert Auction, Live on the Side, or Live Auction.

How will the dollars that you spend at the auction be used this year? They will be used for the purchase of an iSTAT, an advanced handheld diagnostic tool that provides real time, lab quality results within minutes at the patient's bedside. All funds raised at the Special Funded Auction will be used for the purchase of an EKG machine for the emergency room. This high-tech Welch Allen 12-lead machine will help identify underlying heart rates and rhythms, patterns of abnormal electrical activity and evidence of damage to the heart muscle.

Members of the Odessa Healthcare Foundation Board appreciate the past support given by members of this community, as well as the gifts given for this year's event. We urge you to attend the 23rd Annual Winetasting and Auction this Friday, May 2, beginning at 6:30 pm.

Join us for the fun, food and beverages and to continue your support of our projects as you have in the past.
