The Weather

At this time The Odessa Record is not able to report current weather statistics. We are waiting for the Weather Service to install a new weather station in Odessa and will resume reporting this information when it is completed.

As of last week’s report, the yearly total to date was 2.32 inches. Snow accumulation: 8.5 inches to date. Seasonal rain: September to February is 4.02 inches.

Odessa Grain

The latest cash grain market here showed Soft White Wheat up at $7.35. Hard Red Winter is up at $8.51. DNS is up at $8.43. Barley is up at 178.00.

Odessa Senior Menu

WEDNESDAY, MAY 7: Tuna noodle casserole with cheese, peas, spinach salad, blueberries, whole wheat bread or roll, ice cream. THURSDAY, MAY 8: Beef stroganoff, green beans, tossed green salad, strawberries & bananas, whole wheat bread or roll, pudding.

If you are not a regular attendee at senior meals and wish to participate, please call 982-2654 prior to 10 a.m. on the day of the meal.

Suggested donation for a meal is $3.25 for those 60 and over. For those under age 60, lunch costs $8.00.
