Jo Lynne of the Spokane RMA has announced that the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC), operating through the Risk Management Agency (RMA), intends to award approximately $2,000,000 to fund the Risk Management Education Partnerships Program. Federal Register RFA RME is attached.
Please note the following:
1. Applications must be electronically submitted to http://rvs.umn.edu/Home.aspx
2. A tutorial on how to apply is also available online at http://rvs.umn.edu/ramresources. Applicants should read the RFA and tutorial before submitting an application.
3. RMA will provide training sessions on the RFA requirements and how to use the application system (scheduled soon).
4. Applications will not be accepted through Grants.gov.
5. Hard copy applications will not be accepted.
6. Application process closes June 30 at 11:59 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). NO EXCEPTIONS. Applicants are encouraged to submit applications early.
7. Required documents to be completed, signed and uploaded to the application system prior to submitting the application are:
a) Completed OMB Standard Form 424, Application for Federal Assistance.
b) Completed OMB Standard Form4 24-A, Budget Information - Non-construction Programs.
c) Completed OMB Standard Form 424-8, Assurances, Non-constructive Programs.
d) Completed and signed OMB Standard Form LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities.
e) Completed and signed AD-1049, Certification Regarding Drug-Free Workplace.
f) Completed Current and Pending Report.
g) Letter(s) of Commitment, A scanned copy of the signed/dated letter from each partner, consultant, or collaborator named as Key Personnel that is uploaded to the system as part of the application.
h) Prior to submission, applicants must have a DI-INS number (www.whitehouse.gov).
i) Prior to submission, applicants must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov).
The required documents listed above can be downloaded from the RVS to be completed and uploaded prior to submission of the application. Applications submitted without these required forms will be rejected.
