O-H Titan Madison Charlton qualifies for state golf tournament in Tacoma

At the district golf tournament at MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake on Monday, May 19, Harrington senior Madison Charlton of the O-H Titans finished in 7th place with a subdistrict score of 85 and a district score also of 85 for a combined score of 170. In doing so, he qualified for the state meet, the only Titan to do so.

Hunter Weitze of Colfax was first with a combined score of 142 for the two-day results. Palmer Guhlke of Davenport was second with 146, Sawyer Spackman of St. Georges third with 159, Jimmy Psomas of St. Georges fourth with 162, Kasey Johnson of Colfax fifth with 165, Cody Gronning of Colfax sixth with 166, Logan Morley of Lind-Ritzville-Sprague eighth with 170, Trevor Jantz of Lind-Ritzville-Sprague ninth with 176.

Titans Griffey Powell finished with 87 and 97 for a combined score of 184, and William Mann finished with 105 and 110 for a combined score of 215, neither making the cut to go to the state competition.

The state tournament will be held in Tacoma May 28 and 29.
