Credit for the numerous showers that fell during the week went to C.C. Dobson who has continued his almost unbroken record of drawing rainfall every time he cuts his hay crop. It looked like the record would be broken when mowers entered the field on a clear, bright morning. By noon it was cloudy and rain started after dinner. Two years ago the commercial club awarded Mr. Dobson a hat and the title of “rain maker.”
