Jean Starkel has reached one milestone in her life by announcing her retirement from OMHC and moving on to the next phase of her life.

In her 28-year career at Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center, Starkel has had the greatest respect for her quality work from both her coworkers and the patients. She worked first as a nurses' aid and an EMT before coming to the clinic as a medical assistant over 25 years ago. Her care and compassion for the patients has been unending.
