Monday, June 23: Odessa ambulance personnel assisted a 78-year-old man experiencing shortness of breath and hallucinations.
Sprague firefighters responded to a 20- to 30-acre brush fire on U.S. Bureau of Land Management property in Spokane County.
A deputy checked on the welfare of a Harrington man whose adult daughter believed may harm himself.
A deputy warned a Davenport resident about his constantly barking dog in the 800 block of Main Street.
A caller reported someone had removed items from a mailbox along Devils Gap Road north of Reardan. Other mailboxes were reported tampered with along Piper Lane East.
A caller expressed concern about a "slow-moving" military convoy on SR 2 between Davenport and Reardan.
Davenport Family Foods personnel reported an "unwanted" individual was trespassing there.
A Davenport woman advised dispatchers that an 18-year-old man was hanging around her 10-year-old son and giving him things.
Wilbur Police advised a resident of the 700 block of SE Trinity to extinguish a fire that was in violation of the town's burn ban.
Reardan Police investigated a possible "tagging" incident at Colvilles, Inc., on Broadway Avenue (SR 2).
Tuesday, June 24: Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a 71-year-old man with possible heart problems.
A resident of Corbett Draw Road northeast of Almira reported finding two cut window screens and a third window that had been tampered with on the back side of the house.
Lincoln Hospital personnel requested assistance with a potentially "combative" man they expected to come.
Nervous that a burglary may have been in the planning stages, an Almira caller shared details of a suspicious vehicle that was continuously driven past property on Maxwell Road.
Deputies responded to a possible domestic situation in the 1100 block of Twelfth Street in Davenport.
Wednesday, June 25: An injured owl was spotted at the Harrington golf course.
Deputies investigated a possible burglary of a shop building near Tamarack Canyon and Bald Ridge roads. Several items were reported missing.
Lincoln Hospital personnel requested assistance with a possibly intoxicated man who was an "unwanted" visitor.
Deputies were advised that a man was locking girls inside a restroom at the Davenport city park. The individual was the subject of several calls during the week relating to alleged harassment of children there.
A young woman appeared to be living out of a vehicle that was out of gas and blocking traffic on Zeimer Road east of Davenport.
Deputies responded to a noise complaint originating from a residence in the 300 block of Sherlock Street in Harrington.
A library worker accidentally set off a burglar alarm in the Wilbur Library.
Thursday, June 26: Reardan and Edwall EMTs assisted Davenport ambulance personnel with a 54-year-old man experiencing chest pains outside Colvilles Too in Reardan. He was transported to a Spokane hospital.
Creston ambulance personnel transported a 31-year-old woman with high blood pressure to Lincoln Hospital in Davenport.
Corrections officers found tobacco hidden inside a Bible at the county jail.
A caller expressed concern about a woman who appeared to be falling asleep while pushing a baby in a stroller along Morgan Street in the vicinity of the Some Like It Hot! espresso.
A deputy responded to a caller's concern about a vehicle "stopping hard" in the 1200 block of Adams Street in Davenport and a driver who may have been drunk and appeared "lost." The deputy discovered the 14-year-old behind the wheel had a permit and was learning to drive.
A collision involving a compact car and a semi-truck took place at the intersection of Twelfth and Morgan streets (SR 28 and 2) in Davenport. No injuries were reported.
Dispatchers took a Davenport man's complaint of loud music near the corner of Main and Thirteenth streets.
Friday, June 27: Someone put superglue into the lock of a Sprague man's truck while parked in the 300 block of 5th.
An Almira man told dispatchers that while he was downtown, another man threatened to "lay him out."
Two vehicles collided on SR 174 north of Wilbur.
Wilbur Police investigated a possible incident of child abuse.
Odessa Police investigated a stalking complaint involving two women.
Saturday, June 28: Reardan medical personnel assisted a man at Dean's Drive In with dog bites believed to be from an animal kept on property along Tramm Road.
A vehicle went into the ditch after the driver swerved to avoid another that pulled out to pass a third car near the intersection of SR 2 and Govan Road in the Wilbur area.
Deputies responded to a custody dispute involving a 3-year-old girl and residents of the Sprague area.
Deputies investigated a party involving several juveniles in the 100 block of South 7th Street in Almira.
Wilbur Police responded to the 600 block of NW Cole where threats were reported made against a woman.
A collision involving a vehicle and deer took place on SR 2 just north of Mantiques.
A crossing arm broke off after striking a combine that was going over railroad tracks on North Birch Street in Odessa while a train was coming.
Sunday, June 29: Creston ambulance personnel responded to the 100 block of NE Dungan Street where a woman was experiencing "extreme" vomiting.
Deputies assisted Reardan Police responding to the 100 block of South Birch, where a possible domestic dispute or trespassing incident was in progress.
A caller advised her father was "freaking out, yelling and screaming" about a snake in the 700 block of Marshall Street in Davenport. The man told a responding deputy that the snake had wrapped itself around his leg, but had not bitten him.
Damage to a shop building on Heimbigner Road was reported as a result of a break-in.
An Almira woman reported a dog chased her and her mother while they walked in the 200 block of South 5th Avenue.
A Davenport man expressed concern about a dog being sprayed by some sort of chemical in the 60 block of Marshall Street.
Wilbur Police responded to a report that a woman was smoking marijuana outside the Willows Motel, where she was staying. She told the officer that she had a medical card and knew she couldn't smoke inside her room.

June 25: Thomas M. Roberts, 37, Wilbur, arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) for failing to appear for violating a no-contact order.
June 27: Chuck W. Cropper, 47, Spokane, arrested by LCSO for second-degree burglary (2 counts), first-degree theft (2 counts) and second-degree malicious mischief.
Daniel L. Osgood, 51, Chewelah, arrested by LCSO for failing to appear for driving while under the influence.

Criminal Sentencings
Benjamin Lee Yow, 46, Sprague, pleaded guilty June 17 to second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), amended through plea negotiations from second-degree assault and 10 counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. He must serve a month in jail or electronic home monitoring, pay $800 court costs and attorney fees to be determined, and surrender three weapons to authorities. The charges involve a March 7 altercation in Sprague with his 16-year-old son, who told deputies he had been choked and thrown to the ground.
Daniel Ross Thompson, 40, Reardan, pleaded guilty June 24 to residential burglary, second-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana, amended through plea negotiations from second-degree burglary and second-degree theft. He must complete a 24-month residential chemical dependency treatment program, pay $800 court costs, restitution and attorney fees. He was charged in connection with the taking of tool boxes, a car battery, coinage, firearms and a computer between Jan. 22 and 29 of this year from property on Bisson Road East in the Reardan area.
Darcy Jo. Tomayko, 19, Reardan, pleaded guilty June 24 to second-degree burglary, amended through plea negotiations from second-degree burglary and second-degree trafficking in stolen property. Her sentence included 7 days jail (credited as served), 14 days electronic home monitoring, 12 months probation, $800 court costs, restitution and attorney fees to be determined. She is restricted from possessing firearms. The charge involves the taking of about $400 worth of tools from a garage in the 200 block of East Spokane Street in Reardan, later recovered from a Spokane pawn shop. Similar charges against her brother, Marcus R. Tomayko, 22, were dismissed as part of a May 6 plea agreement involving charges of theft of a firearm in late 2013.

In an unlawful detainer matter, Scott and Lynn McGowan, of Harrington, seek return of premises at 307 West Main in Harrington, along with unpaid rent and attorney fees, from Stacee and Kevin Hilliard. The respondents, claiming the matter was improperly filed by the petitioners, have requested monetary damages as well.
In an unlawful detainer matter, Federal National Mortgage Association seeks return of premises at 804 Logan Street in Davenport from Gene E. Seagrave, Sr., "John or Jane Doe" Seagrave, and "John and Jane Doe" (unknown residents).
