Volunteers washed cars, sold baked goods and received donations for the victims of the fires in Washington state.
A car wash and bake sale was sponsored by Christ Lutheran Church on Saturday at the old Chevron station lot to benefit the victims of the fires in Washington state.
Merleen Smith reported that the citizens and businesses were very generous in their donations for getting their cars washed, buying baked goods and giving tools such as rakes, shovels, microwave, coffee pot, toiletries, blankets and various other items.
