A heavy piece of metal came crashing down from on top of the Napa building across the street from The Record. Lower right: being in downtown Odessa, the storm seemed to come suddenly with the wind whipping the dust and trees around.
Tuesday evening, a dust storm came rolling in from the east-southeast.
