Use caution getting to school

The road construction project on 4th Avenue is going to have a major impact on traffic around the school until the road reopens. The school bus zone will be on the north side of the school, so there will be no parking on the south side of 3rd Avenue until the buses are able to use the old school bus zone.Parent pick up and drop off will be on the northwest corner of the school campus.

Student parking is very limited until the road construction project is complete. Students can park on the east side of 2nd Street and on 4th Avenue east of the construction zone on the north side of the street and in the Heritage Church parking lot. Students are strongly encouraged not to drive to school until the construction project is complete.

Football players may park at the football field and leave their car there all day but cannot drive their cars from the school to the field.

If everyone will practice consideration for others and think about how their actions will affect those who follow them we should not have any problems. There are not enough parking places available for staff, students, buses and parents dropping off and picking up students. Walking on 4th Avenue is not safe during construction so the two major parts of the school campus, the school, bus garage and football field are not easily accessed. Please take these things into consideration when making plans to get to school.
