Travis Melvin Todd and Martha Irene Taylor were married August 2, 2014, at six o'clock in the evening. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Greg Thorn in a garden setting at the bride's childhood home in Brewster, Wash. Parents of the bride hosted the ceremony and reception. A rehearsal dinner BBQ and pool party was hosted by the parents of the groom at the home of Randy and Karla Phillips, uncle and aunt to the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Taylor of Brewster and the granddaughter of Wanda Taylor of Olympia and the late Dick Taylor, the late Irene Taylor, and Dan and Reba Gebbers of Brewster. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Todd of Odessa. He is the grandson of Mrs. Robin Kendall of Long Beach, Calif. and the late Mike Kendall, the late JoAnn Jobson Kendall, and the late Mel and Grace Todd.
Escorted by her father and given away by her parents, the bride wore an ivory lace gown with a scalloped sweep train. She carried a bouquet of ivory and pink old English roses.
Miss Becky Mae Taylor of Brewster, sister to the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridal attendants included Miss Reba Guzman of Brewster, cousin to the bride; Mrs. Taylor Taylor of Brewster, sister-in-law to the bride; Miss Kaylan Crane of Brewster, cousin to the bride; Miss Kendall Todd of Odessa, sister to the groom; and Anna Bean of Woodinville, cousin to the bride.
Mr. Edmundo Corrales of Oak Harbor, Wash. served as best man. Groom attendants included Mr. Todd Phillips of Brewster, cousin to the groom; Mr. Luke Corigliano of Whittier, Calif., friend to the groom; Mr. Alex Sankey of Bothell, Wash., friend to the groom; and Mr. Ryne Phillips of Zillah, cousin to the groom.
Stockton Taylor, brother to the bride, served as horseman for the stage coach carrying the bride and her flower girls, Dakota Wyss, Jody Wyss, Leah Thompson and Riley Gebbers, cousins to the bride, and Jade Pudelkewicz, cousin to the groom. The ring bearers were Cash Gebbers and Hawk James Gebbers, cousins to the bride. Announcers of the bride were Mac Landon Gebbers, Blaine Gebbers and Capri Gebbers, cousins to the bride. Michael Taylor, Timbo Taylor and Joe Taylor, brothers to the bride, served as ushers. Honored friend of the bride, Angela Guzman, was also in attendance.
Paul Madden and Jenny Madden, friends of the bride, provided music and song selections for the bride and groom during the ceremony. The reception took place immediately following in the front gardens with music provided by Everlasting Entertainment.
Travis is a 2008 graduate of Odessa High School and 2012 graduate of Whitworth University. Martha is a 2008 graduate of Brewster High School and 2012 graduate of Northwest Christian University. After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple has made their home in Brewster, where Travis teaches fifth grade and coaches, and Martha works in the Human Resources Department for her family business, Gebbers Farms.
