Curtis E. Finck

Curtis E. Finck was born February 28, 1925 in Elgin, N.D. to August and Matilda Finck. Curtis grew up in North Dakota and in 1945 joined the U.S. Army where he served until his discharge in 1946 at Ft. Lewis, Wash. On June 1, 1952, he married Sylvia Bartalamay in Odessa, and they farmed and raised their family. Sylvia passed away in 1998, and Curtis continued to live in Odessa until his death on August 21, 2014 at the age of 89.

He is survived by four children: Nancy Gillen, Gary (and Kristi) Finck, Brad Finck and Melanie (and Steve) Miller, along with eight grandchildren and seven great-grand...
