In girls’ basketball, the Odessa-Harrington Titans, like the boys, suffered back-to-back losses this past weekend to Davenport and Wilbur-Creston.
In Friday’s game against Davenport, the Titans and Gorillas were tied at half-time and even managed a one-point lead by the end of the third quarter. They were unable to keep up in the fourth quarter, however, and lost by a score of 58-52.

Katie DeWulf led all scorers with 23. Paige Alloway followed with 13, Jordyn Tanke 9, Shelbey Watkins 4, Lanessa Simon 2, Zoe Clark 1 and Maleah Davison 0.
In Wilbur on Saturday, it looked as though the Titans were going to be slaughtered, managing only 6 points to the Wildcats’ 24 in the first half. The same basic pattern followed in the third quarter, but in the fourth, the Titans finally found their range pumping in 23 points to W/C’s 7. It was not enough, however, and the Wildcats won 37-31.
