The Titan junior varsity boys have been playing well, says JV coach Larry Weber. "They are playing better team defense and taking care of the basketball on offense. They are learning the game of basketball as the season progresses," Weber said.
The boys JV team currently has a 7-4 record, and all of their losses have been to 2B schools.
Against St. John-Endicott January 6, the boys got the win, 60-45, as Jayd Jennings and Caleb Behrens got 12 points each to pace the Titan team. William Mann had 9 points, Aaron Gies 8 points, Brad Johnston 7 and Colton Hunt and Dylan Shockley 6 each.
Against Northport on January 9, the JV boys again got the win, 52-22. Shockley scored 13 points to pace the Titans and was followed closely by Behrens with 12 points. Hunt added 11 points, Mann 8 and Johnston 4. Jennings and Gies scored 2 points each.
Against Curlew on January 10, Shockley was on fire and pumped in 23 points. Jennings had 10 points, Johnston 9 and Behrens and Mann 8 points each.
