Odessa Knowledge Bowl team heads to state contest

On Saturday, February 28, Odessa’s Knowledge Bowl team came away from the regional competition held at Whitworth University in Spokane with a second-place finish which qualifies them to go to the state competition. The state contest will be held in Arlington, Wash. on Saturday, March 14.

Finishing first in the regional competition at Whitworth was Garfield-Palouse, followed by Odessa in second place, Almira-Coulee-Hartline third, Harrington fourth and Oaksdale fifth.

This year’s winning team comprises Trevor King, Elizabeth Larson, Molly Schafer, Jenna Shafer, Garrison Schmierer and Thorsen Wehr.
