Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
Fifth Congressional Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers will join Lincoln County Republicans at their annual Lincoln Day luncheon planned for Saturday, March 28. Keynote speaker will be Lt. Col. Allen B. West (U.S. Army, Retired), a former Congressman from Florida and a frequent commentator on Fox News. “This is the most ambitious Lincoln Day we’ve ever planned,” said Sue Lani Madsen, Chairman of the Lincoln County Republicans. “We are fortunate to have both a nationally recognized speaker, as well as our current Congresswoman in attendance.”
In addition to the keynote presentation and a Q&A session with Allen West to be held at Davenport Middle School, lunch will be served by the Davenport High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America as a fundraiser for chapter activities. Attendees are expected from across the 13th Legislative District (Lincoln, Grant and Kittitas counties), as well as Adams, Whitman, Pend Oreille, Ferry and Stevens counties.
The 13th Legislative District is unique in crossing three Congressional Districts. Working together on common issues like access to irrigation water and smooth port operations for its export-dependent agricultural economy, residents of the state’s 13th district can tap the horsepower of three Congressional representatives: Cathy McMorris Rodgers (fifth), Dave Reichert (eighth) and newly elected Dan Newhouse (fourth). “We hope this is just the first of many events to help solidify our political ties across the 13th Legislative District,” said Madsen.
A firearms raffle will be held at the event for a Smith and Wesson Model 638 (38 Special) and Crimson Trace LG-305 Laser Grips.
