Zachary A. Zagelow

Zachary A. Zagelow, 18, of Milton, Wis. died June 12, 2015 at Loyola University Hospital of Chicago, where he had been hospitalized in hopes of receiving a lung transplant. Zach was born February 13, 1997 in Spokane and underwent his first of several heart surgeries in his first week of life. In November of 1998, Zach received the gift of a life-saving heart/lung transplant at Stanford University, and much of his life centered on regular visits to multiple doctors and hospitals in the care of that gift.
