Letter to the Editor: FOE popular in early days

Being a historian for the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the [100 years ago column] was talking about Aerie 1857 which formed in Odessa on March 6, 1909 and consolidated with Spokane Eagles #2 in the year 1918. In August of 1915 the Grand Aerie Convention was held in Spokane, and they competed against not only our State, but the whole United States, British Columbia and Canada. I would say the Odessa Aerie did quite well back in their day.
