Laura Hardt, age 98, passed away September 21, 2015 in Spokane. She was born July 30, 1917 in Edwall.
Laura farmed in the Odessa area with her husband Bill and they were married for 72 years. She was a lifelong member of the Grange. She loved playing card games such as Rummy and Pinochle, and she loved playing Bingo. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing with her husband Bill.
Laura is survived by her daughter Dixie (Jim) Moore; grandchildren David (Nancy) Moore, Dan Moore and Kate (Dan) Holland; great-grandchildren Bobby, Sean and Jeremy Lester, Frankie Moore and James and William Holland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Among them, those who spent some extra time with her were Karen Balfe, Julie Reynolds, John Hardt and Nancy Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hardt and sister Jean Parr.
A service will be held September 26, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Odessa Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Jon Hayashi officiating. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Spokane, 911 W.
