Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
Odessa's own Marlee and David Eldridge have hit the stage once again. After having worked under the direction of Craig Holman, Ellen Holman and Julie Wehr, the two stage performers are being directed this time around by Cameron Anderson of the Spokane Children's Theatre in "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." The show is based on the children's book by Judith Viorst.
Marlee has been cast as the teacher, Mrs. Dickens, and is also part of the ensemble. David assumes three roles: Alexander's father, the shoe salesman and the dentist Dr. Fields.
Spokane Children's Theatre is in its 70th season. "Alexander" opened last weekend, but there is still time to get a seat for the next two weekends. Performances are Friday, October 16 and 23 at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, October 17-18 and 24-25 at 2 p.m. Seating for each performance begins 30 minutes before the show.
