Scouting for Food begins Saturday, November 7

The Cub Scouts of Pack #784 in Odessa will once again be “Scouting for Food.” Over the past several years, the Cub Scouts have collected thousands of pounds worth of food. This special food drive will provide Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for a number of families in Odessa served by the Odessa Food Bank, as well as throughout the year. On Saturday, November 7, the Cub Scouts will distribute bags to every household in Odessa.

Then on Saturday, November 14, at 10 a.m., the scouts will pick the bags up from the front porches of all of the homes where bags have been left.

There will also be a grocery cart at Odessa Foods during that same week until Saturday, November 14. Anyone who would like more information, is asked to contact April Strebeck at 509-988-0477.
