Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!
The junior-high Titans ended their season undefeated with a 6-0 record on October 19. In the final three games of the season, the team continued to dominate the opposition.
On October 12, the Titans beat Springdale, 47-7. Head coach Larry Weber said the team exhibited great execution on offense and defense.
Only three days later, on October 15, the team played Almira/Coulee-Hartline, winning 56-13. Weber credited the team with great defensive play in the second half. “There were no turnovers, and the players took care of the football and executed on offense. The line did a great job blocking for our backs, especially inside the ends,” said Weber. He added that the team had connected on some long pass plays, as Brady Walter and Jett Nelson have figured out how to get open down field. Also of note in this game, Weber said, was that Kenadie Elder, the only female member of the team, scored her first touchdown and a run up the middle.
On October 19, the O-H junior high team played ACH again, winning 33-6.
ACH scored on the last play of the game and only threw two passes during the entire game,” said Weber. “The offensive line did a great job of blocking. It was a great season with a great group of kids. They came to practice every day and worked hard. I’m looking forward to watching this group of players mature and get even better through high school.
