Titan volleyball team loses to ACH in three straight games

he Lady Titans were unable to maintain their momentum during their Thursday, October 15, homecoming game against the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors. They suffered their second loss of the season, losing in three game set scores of 13-25 ACH, 21-25 ACH, 23-25 ACH.

In the first game, the Titans seemed a bit tentative and off balance, while ACH was the opposite. By game two, the Titans picked up steam and began returning balls that had gotten by them in game one. In game three, the Titans kept up with ACH, staying even at first, then pulling ahead. Things were looking good for the Titans, as ACH players seemed to panic somewhat. However, their coach called a strategic time out and settled her team down. The Warriors came out of the huddle with renewed confidence and held on with the score at 23-24 in their favor to take the final point and win the game and match. They remain undefeated.

Maleah Davison and Shelbey Watkins had one ace each while Davison also had two blocks. Zoe Clark had two blocks, Isabelle Phillips had nine assists, Lanessa Simon had eight kills and Katie DeWulf had a fantastic 20 digs.
