Herbert V. Zimbelman

Herbie Zimbelman died October 23, 2015, in Spokane; his home was in Odessa. He was born November 12, 1928, in Marlin to Gus and Emma (Kallenberger) Zimbelman. He grew up in the Marlin area and was a lifetime resident of the Marlin/Odessa area.

Herbie was an avid golfer and bowler and a master craftsman in woodworking and leather works. He loved to watch sports on TV and was a great supporter of Odessa athletics for many years, attending all the home games.

Herbie is survived by two brothers, Robert and Don Zimbelman, and his sister, Rhea Strate, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
