Ronald George Walter

Ronald G. Walter died at his home in Spokane on Sunday, November 15, after a massive heart attack.

He was born April 21, 1942 in Odessa to Jacob and Sarah (Scrupps) Walter. He was a 1960 graduate of Odessa High School. He was a member of the English Congregational Church in Odessa, where he was confirmed. He attended Eastern Washington University, then worked in Spokane at Campbell Industrial Supply, a machine shop and Kaman Bearing, where he served in sales and management for many years.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda; three children, Ronda, Jeffrey and Jill; eight grandchildren; two brothers (and their families); as well as numerous cousins on both the Walter and Scrupps sides of his family.

Ron is preceded in death by one stepson and by his parents.

He enjoyed boating and snowmobiling and had a wonderful backyard garden.

Service will be December 21 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 W. Government Way, Spokane.
