Tribute: Carol J. Schuh

Carol J. Schuh passed away January 13, 2016, in Davenport. Her home was in Harrington.

Carol was born January 4, 1931, in Irby to Henry and Marie Kiehn. She attended school in Ritzville and was a cheerleader and tennis player and graduated in 1949. She married Arthur Schuh on June 5, 1949 in Ritzville, and they moved to the family farm near Harrington.

Carol enjoyed golf, Gonzaga and WSU basketball and watching her grandchildren play sports.

She is survived by her husband Arthur at the home; three children, Jeanette (Dick) Oenning, Dennis Schuh and Nancy Albertus; along with six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Vernon Kiehn; her sister Joann Sauer, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol will lie in state at the Strate Funeral Home in Davenport on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Odessa, with Pastor Tim Hauge officiating.
