Titan's varsity teams both bow to Wildcats

The evening of January 26 proved to be a tough one for both Titan varsity basketball teams when they lost away non-league games to the Wilbur-Creston Wildcats. The Wildcats have moved up to the 2B classification this year.

The boys varsity team lost by 21 points, with a final score of 47-68.

Colton Hunt led the Titans with a total of 16 points Tuesday. He also had five rebounds and an assist. Colt Sanford had a “double double” with 13 points and 15 rebounds, plus an assist and six blocks. Jayd Jennings had 10 points, two rebounds, three assists, four steals and a block. Tyler Rollins had four points a rebound and a steal, while Dylan Shockley and Aaron Gies had two points apiece with Shockley adding a rebound and a steal and Gies an assist and a steal.

The Titans girls lost their game to the Wildcats by 28 points, with a final score of 27-55.

Maleah Davison’s “double double” was the result of 13 points and 10 rebounds. She also had one steal. Katie DeWulf had eight points, nine rebounds and three assists; Kassidy Crossley four points, six rebounds and an assist and Lanessa Simon had two points, four rebounds and four steals.
