Two victories in a row for O-H boys varsity

It was a great ending to a long wintery January for the Titan boys when they won both varsity basketball games last Friday and Saturday.

Friday’s away conference game was against Columbia/Hunters where the Titans came home with 16-point victory over the Lions. The final score was 56 to 40.

Colton Hunt went six for nine from beyond the three-point line, making up 18 of his 21 total points scored, along with his seven rebounds, six assists, four steals and four blocks. Colt Sanford followed with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, plus two assists, two steals and a block. Jayd Jennings had 10 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals. Dylan Shockley scored nine points, all scored from three-point range, and two assists. Aaron Gies also had two points.

Saturday’s home game in Harrington was a 17-point win over the visiting Valley Christian Panthers.

Colton Hunt helped lead the way to victory over the Lions with 28 points (15 from three-point range), 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Colt Sanford had 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks. Dylan Shockley had two three-pointers for six points, and William Mann had five points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
