Dent to receive Early Learning award

The Early Learning Action Alliance has selected Rep. Tom Dent, R-Moses Lake, to receive an Early Learning Emerging Leader Award. The Alliance presents awards to legislators every two years to highlight the importance of legislative leadership in the area of early learning.

In a note to the representative, the group’s policy director Jennifer Jennings-Shaffer said Dent’s “commitment to advancing policies and funding early learning over the past two years has been crucial for Washington’s children and families.”
