Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

Hospital forum this month

Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center will be convening a series of discussion groups on October 26 and 27 to discuss our community’s current health care delivery system and to listen to resident’s perceptions, needs and vision for local care. This is taking place in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health, the Washington State Hospital Association and the Washington State Heath Care Authority.

You may receive a telephone call from Health Facilities Planning & Development (HFPD), based in Seattle (206 area code), asking if you would like to attend one of the discussion groups. Invitation calls will be made at random to Odessa area residents, but anyone interested is urged to participate. Simply call or email HFPD (info below) to reserve a space.

The discussion groups will be hosted by HFPD, and the goal is to have 12-15 persons attend each group. HFPD will also generate a final summary report identifying common issues and themes in the community. No personal information about any individual attendee will be included.

The information collected during these discussions will be extremely helpful to the Hospital District’s commissioners as they develop their 2017 strategic plan. If you do receive a phone call, we would greatly value your input and hope you will consider attending one of the groups. If you didn’t receive a random phone call, but would like to participate, please reach out to HFPD directly to reserve a space at the upcoming meetings, please feel free to call them at 206-441-0971 or email them at Healthfac@healthfacilitiesplanning.com.
