Titans pound Entiat, win by score of 90-18

According to head football coach Jeff Nelson, “The Titans had over 549 yards of total offense, 399 on the ground with Colton Hunt rushing for 140 yards on eight carries for two TDs, and Sage Elder packing the ball three times for 145 yards and three TDs. The air attack totaled 150 yards with Hunt completing eight of 12 passes for three TDs. Josh Clark caught for two TDs and Chance Messer one.”

Sage Elder ran for 53 yards to score the first touchdown of the game. The two-point conversion run by Gaven Elder was good.

S. Elder ran 72 yards for the game’s second touchdown, and the two-point conversion run by Caleb Behrens was also good.

Entiat came back with a 34-yard pass play for the TD. The two-point conversion attempt was no good, and the score was then 16-6 Titans.

Quarterback Hunt ran 15 yards for the next touchdown. A run by G. Elder was good for two more.

G. Elder ran 31 yards for the Titans’ next touchdown. The two-point conversion pass play from Hunt to Chance Messer was good.

Hunt broke away from deep in Entiat territory and ran 70 yards for the next TD. The run by Hunt added two.

Hunt completed a pass to Josh Clark for a 37-yard TD, with Hunt passing to Messer for the two-point conversion.

At the end of the first quarter the score was 48-6 in the Titans’ favor.

S. Elder opened the second-quarter scoring with a 20-yard run for the touchdown. Marcus King ran for the two-point conversion.

Entiat came alive again in the second quarter on a 65-yard pass play for the TD. The two-point conversion attempt was no good.

Hunt completed a pass to Messer for 15 yards and a TD. Hunt’s pass to G. Elder was complete for two more.

To complete the first-half scoring, Hunt passed to Clark for 41 yards and another TD. The two-point conversion run by King was good. The score at the half-way point in the game was 72-12.

After the half, King intercepted an Entiat pass and scored, then also ran the ball for the two-point attempt but was stopped short of the goal line.

Camden Weber ran seven yards for the third quarter’s last touchdown. Behrens ran the two-point conversion attempt but was stopped short.

Entiat scored again in the fourth quarter on a six-yard run. The two-point conversion run was no good.

The game’s final score was a 28-yard run by King. Weber’s two-point conversion run attempt was no good.

“Defensively,” said Nelson, “the Titans were led by Brad Johnson’s four total tackles. The Titans also had five defensive interceptions with Josh Clark snagging two, one of which he returned for a TD. Gaven Elder, Sage Elder, and Marcus King also grabbed one interception apiece.”
