"Dusty" Dormaier passed away at home October 27, 2016 at the age of 89. He was born to Emmanuel and Lena-Mary (Hardt) Dormaier on April 17, 1927 in Cashmere, Wash. Dusty was a wheat farmer near Odessa until retiring and moving to the Spokane Valley.
Survivors include his wife Darlene, his children Laura Beal, Connie (Lee) Engelhardt and Mark (Beth) Wasemiller, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Bonnie (Glenn) Riehle.
The Funeral Service is scheduled Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 17909 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, with the graveside to follow at Pines Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in "Dusty's" name may be given to Hope Lutheran Church or Horizon Hospice.
