Rebecca Fortner, Maddy Wagner and Tori Weishaar tote filled boxes destined for the homes of Odessa school children to keep them well supplied with food over the winter break.
Donated food filled 25 boxes that were packed and delivered so that 53 children attending the Odessa schools would have plenty of food to eat over Christmas break. The boxes were filled with donations from school children, with the sixth, eighth, tenth and twelfth grades bringing in the most food. In addition, community members provided money to purchase extra food, with Odessa resident Nancy Kramer delivering chocolate candy canes for each child. Other residents also once again showed their generous support for those who need a helping hand.
