Last Sunday’s shooters at the Odessa and Marlin Gun Clubs were very cold, but they nevertheless participated in week two of the annual Spokesman-Review regional trapshooting contest.
No shooters achieved a perfect 25, but TJ Main did manage a 24. Shooring 23 were Landon Lobe, Brady Gies, Jared Praetorius and Deanna Lobe.
Shooting 22 were Traig Weishaar, Bill Weber, Tina Wentworth and Jon Fink. Lane Lobe and Brian Wraspir each shot 21.
Finishing at 20 and under were Deric Schmierer, Matt Messer, Pilot Weishaar, Colton Messer, Kiegan Wehr, Daeton Deife, Jordan Larmer, Jenny Larmer, Dalles Deife and Trevor Smith.
High handicap shooters were Brady Gies and Daniel Mann, doubles winner was TJ Main and the Bushwacker award went to Daeton Deife.
Mike French, Mark Iksic and MacKenze Bemis, from the Marlin Gun Club, all shot 25 on Sunday, January 15. Jan Jensen, Doug Brashear, Mark Edwins, Mark Brashear, Bill James and Austin Nelson were right behind them shooting 24.
Taeven Brashear, Dave Asker, Ken Thompson, Carmen Eckhart, Cody Follett and Dan Asker all shot 23, while shooting 22 were Dennis Klemmer, Brent Finkbeiner, Jim Schell, Josh Gray and Dusty Kimble.
Shooting 21 were Ken Eckhart, Shelbey Brashear, Ron Lesser and Paul Bowden. At 20 and under were Jeff Norley, Gage Starkel, Jim Imbert, Kevin Myre, Jeremy Dillon, Susan James, Noel Bowden, Jakob Starkel, Brian Finkbeiner, Jake Bennet, Daryl Kimble, Jessie True, Landon Ribail, Keeva Kimble, Kass Kimble, Rob Imbert, Kylie Castillo, Scott Mortimer, Mark Janett, Chase Janett, Tucker Janett, Dave McMillan, Haley Wade, Dakota McAfee, Lila Bowden, Chuck Wade and Tyson Decker.
High handicap shooters were Cody Follett and Jan Jensen.
