The Little Mermaid Jr. musical coming 3/30

The Odessa schools will present Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. on Tuesday, March 30, at 10 a.m. (limited seating) and 7 p.m. (open seating). Ellen Holman is directing approximately 40 students from grades 2-12 in the one-hour musical based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated film.

The Little Mermaid Jr. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where Ariel, the young mermaid princess, longs to leave the ocean to live in the world above. She’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, escape from the evil sea witch and convince the prince that she is the girl with the magical voice.
