Firemen's auction of March 4 a success

The Odessa Volunteer Fire Department held its seventh annual equipment auction Saturday, March 4, and was able to draw a better crowd than had been expected thanks to some last-minute additions to the list of items for sale. Only one of the items in the auction failed to sell. After last year’s auction that included several estate sales and vehicles from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the firefighters were expecting that this year might look like a flop in comparison.
