BLM's fire restrictions are eased

Due to the Bureau of Land Management Spokane District’s commitment to keeping public landscapes healthy and productive, fire restrictions on lands administered by the district have been lifted in eastern Washington. Termination of the regulated fire closure will be effective September 27 at 12:01 a.m. in the following counties: Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla, Whitman and Yakima.
