Tiger boys win two close games vs ACH, Wellpinit

The Tigers defeated ACH in a close game at home on December 12.

Ryan Moffet scored 26 points to pace the Tiger team, and Marcus King scored 14.
On defense, King led in rebounds with 8. Moffet and Camden Weber each had one blocked shot.
Wellpinit
The Tiger boys defeated Wellpinit last Saturday, December 16, by only one point to maintain their undefeated season so far this year. Getting off to a good start in the first quarter and leading by eight, the opposing team outscored them in the other three quarters but not by enough to overcome the final one-point deficit.

The only really hot scorer was Moffet who put up 39 points by hitting 12 of 29 attempts (four from 3-point range) and 11 of 15 foul shots. King hit 3 for 3 field goals and was also 2 for 2 at the free-throw line to add 8 points to the total. Tim DeWulf and Colton Hunt had 5 points each.
Defensively, DeWulf led the team with 8 rebounds and C. Hunt had 7. DeWulf fouled out, but none of the other Tigers were in serious foul trouble.
Player of the Game
Ryan Moffet was named the Player of the Game by the MaxPreps website for his 39-point effort against Wellpinit. Moffet also was Player of the Game on December 9 when the Tigers played Valley Christian in Spokane. King took the Player of the Game honors in the December 12 game against ACH and was also Player of the Game in the season opener against Wilbur-Creston. DeWulf was Player of the Game against Columbia (Hunters).
