Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

HighLine Grain Growers, Inc. is new name to note

Keith Bailey, general manager of Ag Ventures NW, LLC, has announced the business unification of all five partners in HighLine Grain: Odessa Union Warehouse Cooperative, Reardan Grain Growers, Inc., Central Washington Grain Growers, Inc., Davenport Union Warehouse Co. and Almira Farmers Warehouse, Inc. The membership within each company voted its approval for unification.

The five companies will combine into HighLine Grain Growers, Inc., while continuing the tradition of independent, locally-owned cooperatives in the area. By combining forces, the country elevators will be able to share space, scheduled retirements will be handled in a positive way and redundancies will be reduced.

The five partners have worked together for several years, a relationship that will now be formalized when operations are combined under the new business name, HighLine Grain Growers, Inc. on April 1, 2018.

Bailey will become the chief operating officer of HighLine Grain Growers, Inc.
