Tigers2: OHS goes head to head with Republic

The OHS Tigers triumphed over the Republic Tigers.

The Odessa streak took charge and beat the Republic Tigers 69 to 0.

Odessa had a total 24 minutes possession of the ball, 36 plays vs the Republic Tigers 33 and 21 first downs, Republic Tiger had 3.

Time-wise, the match-up was pretty even, but that's about all.

The OHS Tigers kicked some booty on the defense. Marcus King had a total of seven tackles, four solo tackles and three assists. Keith Strebeck, Lane Lobe and Jaden Hunt each had a total of three tackles. They did a fantastic job of keeping the Republic Tigers at bay.

Leading in touchdowns for the game was Marcus King with a total of four, followed closely by Pilot Weishaar with three. Jakob Starkel and Keith Strebeck each had one touchdown.

This has been a season that I have enjoyed watching. The Tigers have worked hard to get to where they are today, the entire town should be proud to have them.

This week's game is on Saturday, November 17, at 11 a.m. at Lions Field in Moses Lake. The Tigers will play the Neah Bay Red Devils

I look forward to seeing you all in Moses Lake to cheer these Tigers on!!
