On January 8, the Lady Tigers played the Wellpinit Redskins in Odessa. The Redskins subdued the Lady Tigers by a score of 56 - 46. The Tigers are now 2 - 7 for the season.
McKennah Davison was the high scorer in the game with a total of 15 points. She was followed by Maddy Wagner with 13, Brenna Carstensen with 5, Caitlyn Schuh with 4, Emily Scrupps and Kenadie Elder with 3 each and Ashlyn Neilsen with 2.
The Tigers had a total of 22 rebounds on the game, with 3 assists and 5 steals. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t quite enough to pull out the win.
On Friday, January 11, the Lady Tigers ventured to Cusick to play against the Cusick Panthers. The Tigers were able to put the Panthers under their paw and win the game 67 - 30.
The high scorer in the game was Caitlyn Schuh with 16 points. She was followed closely by Kenadie Elder with 10, Brenna Carstensen with 9, McKennah Davison with 8, Emily Scrupps with 6, Kassidy Crossley with 5, Maddy Wagner with 4, Maddie Scrupps with 3 and Naomi Smith, Tori Schlomer and Katreace Boss each with 2.
The Tigers did an outstanding job under the basket. They had a total of 40 total rebounds in the game, as well as 14 assists and 17 steals.
On Saturday, January 12, the Tigers played against the Curlew Cougars in Odessa. The girls came close but didn’t quite make it. They lost to the Cougars 44 - 40.
The high scorer in the game was Kenadie Elder with a total of 19 points. Maddy Wagner, Ashlyn Neilsen, and McKennah Davison each had 5 points, followed by Caitlyn Schuh with 4 and Grace Nelson with 2.
The ladies did pretty well in rebounding with a total of 30 rebounds, plus 9 assists and 10 steals in the game. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough and the Cougars won by 4 points.
The next game is Friday, January 18 against ACH at ACH with the girls game starting at 6 p.m. So take a road trip to Coulee City and cheer the Lady Tigers to win.
