Tigers 10-0 after another week of lop-sided games

Tuesday, January 8, the OHS Tigers took on the Wellpinit Redskins in Odessa. The Tigers wiped out the Redskins 69 - 44, making the Tigers 10 - 0 on the season.

Ryan “the machine” Moffet was at it again with 31 points in the game. Tim DeWulf had the second highest total of 15 points, followed by Marcus King with 8, Camden Weber with 7, Jett Nelson with 4 and Lane Lobe and Jaden Hunt with 2 each.

The Tigers were on top of that hoop, getting a total of 38 rebounds. They had 16 assists and 17 steals. This team works hard to make sure the other team has very little time with the ball. That is why they are 10 - 0 for the season.

Friday, January 11, the Tigers ventured out of town to show the Cusick Panthers what they could do. The Tigers came out on top with a win of 89 -56 against the Panthers.

These boys were some scoring machines on Friday, with Ryan Moffet being the top “machine” with 27 points, but he was followed very closely by Marcus King with 22. Jett Nelson had 13 points, Camden Weber 10, Tim DeWulf 8, Lane Lobe 3 and Pilot Weishaar, Eric Johnston and Jaden Hunt 2 each.

What a game for rebounds! The Tigers brought down a total of 41 rebounds in the game. There were 24 assists and 20 steals, with only 9 turnovers. That is how they keep that scoreboard going in the right direction.

Saturday, January 12, the Tigers had home court advantage in a game against the Curlew Cougars. The Tigers blew them away with a score of 85 - 38.

Once again “the machine” Ryan Moffet was the high scorer for the Tigers with a total of 33 points. Marcus King had 13, Jaden Hunt 10, Daeton Deife 9, Lane Lobe and Tim DeWulf 6 each and Camden Weber, Pilot Weishaar and Jett Nelson each with 2.

The boys have been good all season about keeping the ball in Tiger hands and this game was no different. They had 21 total rebounds, 24 assists and 25 steals. It is Tiger teamwork that makes them so successful.
