The February 9 first round of the District Tournament in Deer Park was postponed until the following Monday, February 11, where the Tiger boys played the Cusick Panthers.

The trip was definitely a success, because the Tigers eradicated the Panthers, beating them 80 to 56 and securing a spot in the district tournament.

Ryan “the Machine” Moffet led the team with a total of 41 points in the game. Next in line were Tim DeWulf and Jaden Hunt with 12 points each, followed by Marcus King with 6, Lane Lobe with 5 and Jett Nelson with 4.

The Tigers had a total of 35 rebounds in the game, with 18 assists, 17 steals and only 9 turnovers. This is why we win, folks. The boys stay right there in the key to make sure that the ball always ends up in Tiger hands. They hang on to it tight, making sure that no one can take it and make points against them.
