Marilu (Giese) Quast

Marilu (Giese) Quast passed away May 20, 2019.

She was born July 5, 1930 on a farm outside Odessa to Daniel and Minnie Giese. Attended Odessa schools graduating in 1948, attended Kinman Business College, and then worked at Odessa State Bank until her marriage to Lorus Lamar Quast on December 21, 1950. Lorus graduated from WSU in June 1952, and entered the army offering the opportunity to travel the world until retirement in Spokane in 1974. Preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, 2 infant sons Bruce David and Daniel Walter, her parents, brothers Danny, Bud and Manford Giese and sister Ruth Walter. Marilu is survived by two children – Suzette (Rod) Coleman and Jim (Judy) Quast. Four grandchildren- Amy Billieu, Daniel Jennings, Krystal Rothbauer, and Jessica Benfield. Ten great grandchildren – Jayd and Ava Jennings; Jacob, Kayla, and Isabel Billieu; Baylee and Maddison Benfield; Tenley, Teagin and Kipton Rothbauer. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Odessa Cemetery Chapel in Odessa, WA.
