Editor’s note: Most items in this section reflect the starting point for response by local police and emergency agencies. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

Monday, Dec. 9: Simply Safe called reporting that one of their alarms for a Lincoln County customer went sounded.

Allstate Insurance called to report a customer in Wilbur ran out of fuel and needed assistance.

Grant County Sheriff’s office called to request a deputy transport a person back to her house in Odessa after being involved in a traffic accident in Grant County.

A woman reported two dogs running around in the roadway.

An Odessa man called 911 but didn’t say anything. Just scratchy static was on the line. The line was busy when it was called back.

A Davenport man reported a break in.

Harrington City hall reported a truck driver who damaged city property.

A Davenport caller reported an alarm at a house posted for sale has been going off for about a week.

An abandoned vehicle was reported.

A Davenport woman reported “Suspicious activity” near her car. No further description was given by the Sheriff’s Office.

A Reardan man reported a semi-truck on the side of SR231 blocking a blind corner.

A Sprague woman reported a phone scam. The scam included threats of violence so she called law enforcement.

Tuesday, Dec. 10: A Grand Coulee woman reported a car parked din her driveway.

A scam call was reported.

A Davenport man reported a helicopter flying very low to the ground that seemed to be chasing or counting deer.

A car left on a lot all day was reported.

A Davenport woman reported a car that hit a deer.

Wednesday, Dec. 11: A caller reported a suspicious man in only shorts near the railroad tracks in Creston. When he approached, the man ran and hid under a train car.

Adult Protective Services reported possible abuse of and elder woman by her husband.

Thursday, Dec. 12: A woman called to report she could smell Carbon Monoxide. Said a repairman checked and found nothing, but she could smell it.

A Reardan man reported someone had parked a six wheel RV on his property and refuses to leave.

A Spokane man said he was forced off the roadway in Lincoln County and drove through a fence.

Friday, Dec. 13: A Davenport man requested that deputies do a welfare check on his ex-girlfriend, whom he is concerned about.

When checking their own phone system for inappropriate use, the Sheriff’s Office noticed it was used by an inmate to call the victim of the crime he is currently charged with.

An Odessa man requested deputies respond to Town Hall because there was a man there yelling at employees.

An Odessa woman reported a package sent via first-class mail was sent to her husband. When he opened it, there was white powder inside.

Saturday, Dec. 14: A caller reported a person speeding around 70 MPH in town near the Harrington cemetery.

A Davenport grocery store reported a theft.

A person reported that an elderly man told them someone stole his dog.

Tuesday, Dec. 10: Jeremy Sheldon Dreher, 48, Spokane, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Jordan Robert Lezard, 32, Electric City, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

Thursday, Dec. 12: Marlie Lyman Rose, 29, Harrington, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, Dec. 14: Ernie Lyle Lawson, 43, Davenport, arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of disorderly conduct.

From Dec. 9 to 15, two individuals were held in the Lincoln County Jail under contract with the U.S. Marshall’s office.

Civil judgments

Judgment against Joseph R. Davenport, $212 in overpaid unemployment benefits.

Viridian Management INC V. Lavenia Zarnick and all other subtenants. Plaintive is attempting to evict defendant. A hearing has been ordered where defendant will be asked to show cause, if any, why a Writ of Restitution should not be entered restoring the plaintive to possession of the property.

Jeffery S. Phillips, Ephrata, had his charges of nine counts of protection order violation dismissed due to no probable cause being established.

Marcella Alderete, Davenport, speeding, had ticket reduced from $128 to $108 at mitigation hearing.

Triston Lane Andrews, Cheney, speeding and driving with no insurance, had speeding ticket upheld at $128 and driving without insurance ticket reduced from $553 to $190 at his mitigation hearing.

Joshua Jeremiah Boyer, Davenport, speeding and driving with no insurance, had speeding ticket upheld at $128 and driving without insurance ticket reduced from $553 to $190 at his mitigation hearing.

Rodney Elam Frunz, Rice, had ticket for driving without insurance dismissed at his mitigation hearing. He also had his ticket for failure to renew expired registration reduced from $231 to $150.

Sarah Holmberg contested speeding ticket and was found to have committed. Ticket reduced from $159 to $128.

Kobe Martinez, Wellpinit, speeding, had ticket reduced from $159 to $150 at mitigation hearing.

Jonah Powell, Spokane, speeding, had ticket reduced from $128 to $120 at mitigation hearing.

Tyler Elman Sharff, Davenport, contested ticket for driving with wheels off the roadway and was found to have committed. $139 was upheld.

Andrew Garganeous, failure to renew expired registration, had ticket reduced from $231 to $140 at mitigation hearing.

Ryan Douglas Seto, Airway Heights, speeding, had ticket reduced from $169 to $139 at mitigation hearing.

Sally Jo Tikka, Davenport, driving with a passenger under 20 years of age while with an intermediate license, had ticket reduced from $139 to $110 at mitigation hearing.

Joe Tom Brightwell, Odessa, contested ticket for violation of nuisance ordinance and was found not to have committed.

Alexander Diviney contested speeding ticket and driving without licenses on person and was found to have committed both offenses. Tickets reduced from $210 to $169 and $139 to $110.

John Alton Hill, Odessa, contested tickets for operating motorcycle with no windshield and operating motorcycle with no helmet, found not to have committed either offense.

John Alton Hill contested ticket for driving on the sidewalk, found not to have committed.

Tyra Kacey Johnson, Post Falls, Idaho, contested tickets for speeding and driving with no insurance, found to have committed count one, ticket upheld at $159, count two dismissed.
